What a fabulous night at the Frasers Twilight Evening! This was my third time exhibiting, so I thought I would do things a little different this year!

My stand looked amazing thanks to Queen of Theme. I hired the furniture and décor, and I think it really paid off. My personalised chocolates were very popular too! And they looked great!

Jo (who is one of my Brides whose wedding I photographed in October AND an amazing Wedding Vocalist!!!), was there to help me on the night and chat to couples about her experience with me during her wedding journey. Secretly, I think she wanted to come in her wedding dress. LOL! Maybe next year huh? Thank you so much Jo for being so wonderful and helpful, and of course your usual bubbly and sweet self. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You rock!

We both got to chat with some really wonderful couples and people in general. The whole event was as always, of such high standards with some of the best wedding and corporate vendors Perth has to offer. I was very proud to be a part of such a great evening.

Here's a little preview of Melinda and Anthony's wedding which was held at Christ the King Beaconsifeld, follwed by their wedding reception at The Esplanade in Fremantle.I struggled to choose only a few to post! I'm in love with their images!

We took some photos at the Left Bank where they first met 5 years and 3 days ago, and then wandered the streets of Fremantle for some photos...

I loved Anthony's singing performance at the reception!

I'm very excited to be exhibiting at this year's Fraser's Twilight Evening. I've met such wonderful couples in the past two that I've done, and I'm very much looking forward to meeting many more!

If you are planning your wedding, I strongly suggest you come down to have a look on Friday 24th Feb between 4-8pm. Entry is FREE. It's not your typical 'expo'. It's really intimate, with a gorgeous atmosphere, yummy food, and some of Perth's most reputable, experienced and quality vendors. Including me of course!

The Fraser's Twilight Evening is not just for weddings, but also private and corporate functions. Come along and say hi, and of course see what the Fraser's Group has to offer. 

I will be offering something special to any couples that book as a result of attending the expo. It doesn't have to be on the night. I much prefer setting up a private appointment to chat properly at my studio at a later date. I haven't yet decided what that 'something special' will be yet, so I welcome any suggestions! Feel free to add comments with your ideas! I'd love to offer something that couples actually want!

Karen + Leigh had a beautiful, intimate wedding at one of my favourite new ceremony spots – the Marlee pavilion in King’s Park. That was the first time I’d been there, and considering it was a Friday wedding, it was so private without any passers by. The view and surroundings were just gorgeous. We didn’t need to treck around King’s Park to get beautiful photos. Karen and Leigh were so relaxed for the entire shoot. The whole day flowed so smoothly and easily. I still remember the smile on Karen’s face when her mother in law handed her a scotch to soothe her nerves prior to the ceremony! It was quite funny! She had just been shedding a few tears after promising herself she wouldn’t be the kind of Bride to cry on her wedding day… I think all the build up of emotions that come with planning a wedding, got to her for just a few minutes… The scotch did the trick though, and from that point onwards, she was the most relaxed Bride!

Their wedding reception, which was a cocktail style, was held at The Old Swan Brewery, so we took advantage of the city views and magnificent skies on the jetty. It was definitely worth braving the cold wind! Poor Karen was freezing, but the shots are awesome if I do say so myself!

These guys are so sweet together, and Leigh one of the most photogenic Grooms I’ve come across! What a great couple! Their album is so simple and beautiful. Can’t wait to get it back!

Thanks Karen and Leigh for a no-fuss wedding day. You two are gorgeous together!
