About My Commitment / Awards
I have been in this industry for 11 years now. I became curious about photography early in high school and pursued Tertiary Education to study photography in 1998. I have a strong commitment to the professional photographic industry. I have been a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) since joining as a student in 1998. I was then granted full accredited membership in 2001.
I have entered the National Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA) for several years now, and through that, have achieved the Associate Accolade in 2009. I am now working towards achieving my Master of Photography accolade. I have also entered the WA Professional Photographer of the Year Awards (WAPPA) for several years. I have been involved with the AIPP on the State Council since 2003 and was elected President of the WA AIPP division in 2008 for a 2 year term. I am also currently on the National Assessment Committee within AIPP assessing potential member’s portfolios who wish to join the institute as accredited members.
